It was a self-fulfilling prophecy. At least, according to Anthropic, which has been calling for regulations in the past few months over fears of AI innovation pacing. The tech sector built a masterpiece of intelligence, named it after a warning, and was promptly forced to learn the moral of the story the hard way.
